A 20 year heritage

WE’RE EXPERTS IN AIRCRAFT WHEELS AND BRAKES

Since 1999, World Aero has provided first-class support to the aviation industry. Led by a team of experienced aviation professionals, supporting commercial and business jet operators aircraft wheels and brakes, World Aero’s EASA/FAA Part-145 facility provides MRO services for international aviation customers worldwide. Knowledgeable engineers and technicians bring extensive industry experience to the delivery of a range of support solutions for operators of all sizes – legacy airlines, low-cost carriers, maintenance providers, brokers, stockists and private operators alike.

INDEPENDENT, in every respect

Being a truly independent MRO means that our commitment lies with you, the customer. Being OEM authorised sounds impressive and does have its benefits, but feedback from our customers suggests this can lead to a conflict of interest when the MRO is pressured to act in the best interests of the OEM, rather than perhaps the customer. And what’s more, most mixed fleets run a variety of wheels and brakes from different OEMs, so then where do you stand?

Secondly, World Aero remains 100% privately owned by our CEO and founder, Phil Randell. Without multiple shareholders or a board of directors, we are free to operate a very dynamic business model. In a world of mergers and acquisitions, some of aviation’s most successful companies have reversed the trend and remain in private ownership and we’re proud to count ourselves among them. And lets face it, with even our CEO Phil playing a very hands-on role, we have zero non-productive stakeholders requiring dividends, enabling our pricing to remain extremely competitive.

A continuous investment programme in people, processes, and the latest industry-standard equipment enables World Aero to meet challenges and operator demands where flexibility, speed, stock, and commitment to quality, all play a significant part.
